Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers has been absolutely extraordinary through four games played this season. His efficiency has given offensive coordinator DeClan Doyle a real chance to focus on the rushing attack while using Flowers in moderation to slice and dice against advantageous man coverage from opposing defenses.

Flowers' ability to slither through zone coverages is quite problematic, as his nimble stature makes him almost impossible to constrain. On Sunday, in the 24-18 victory over the Tennessee Titans, Flowers hauled in eight receptions on 10 targets, a testament to his ability to locate the ball and be in the right place for quarterback Lamar Jackson on timely play calls. Efficiency has to be key for Doyle, and Flowers is showcasing
a special attention to detail that deserves acclaim so far this season.
As the Ravens coaching staff awaits the details of Jackson’s injury, they can likely rest easy knowing Flowers will continue to execute each play in the playbook to perfection. As for the Titans, they’ve fallen to 0-4 this season but will likely take a deep breath knowing Flowers won’t appear on their schedule in the coming weeks.
Zay Flowers makes a great catch and walks into the end zone!
