The Ravens return from Brazil with a dramatic win and a Week 4 matchup that demands a steadier performance.
Baltimore hosts the 0-3 Titans on Sunday after beating Dallas 34-31 on Tyler Loop’s last-second field goal. Tennessee lost 12-7 to the Giants, generating only one first down and 54 yards before halftime. Cam Ward’s late comeback attempt ended with an interception on first-and-goal from the 7.
The season numbers show a sizable offensive gap. Baltimore ranks sixth in total offense at 398.7 yards per game, third in rushing at 167.3 and fourth in scoring at 30.7. Tennessee ranks 31st in total offense at 249.3 yards per game and 30th in scoring at 12.3.
The Titans’ defense gives them a chance to keep games close. Tennessee ranks 10th in both total
defense and points allowed, surrendering 315.3 yards and 19.7 points per game. Jeffery Simmons presents a difficult interior matchup as Baltimore sorts through injuries to centers Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic.
The Ravens also have defensive work to do after allowing Dallas 415 yards. They enter Week 4 tied for 21st in scoring defense, allowing 26 points per game. Baltimore needs to limit Tennessee’s early gains, tackle cleanly, and sustain its own possessions. The favorable offensive comparison will matter only if the Ravens avoid the mistakes that kept their last two games in doubt.
