The Baltimore Ravenshead into Sunday's AFC North matchup with the Cleveland Browns knowing that divisional games rarely follow a comfortable script. Still, the atmosphere is positive. Baltimore comes off an overtime win over the Atlanta Falcons.
The circumstances surrounding this team remain complicated. Injuries continue to test its depth, and Tyler Huntley is preparing to lead the offense again after Lamar Jackson wasruled out for another week.
The Browns present their own challenges, particularly with Todd Monken now leading them and Deshaun Watson showing signs of renewed confidence. Still, Baltimore has reasons to believe it can control this matchup.
The Ravens have found ways to win on the road. Their running game remains a strength. If Baltimore
takes care of the football and controls the line of scrimmage, it could create separation late. Here are five bold predictions for the Ravens' Week 6 trip to Cleveland.
Tyler Huntley throws two more touchdown passes
The Cleveland Browns have allowed every opposing quarterback they've faced to throw at least one touchdown pass, and there's little reason to assume that trend will suddenly end against Baltimore. Huntley threw two touchdown passes in the Ravens' overtime win over the Falcons, giving the offense a timely boost while Jackson remains sidelined. The Ravens converted eight of 15 third downs and converted three red zone trips into touchdowns
Another two-touchdown performance would be a meaningful step for Huntley as he gets another week of practice with the starters. Familiarity with the offense and improved timing could help him play with greater confidence, particularly if Baltimore establishes the run and creates favorable passing situations. Cleveland's defense won't make it easy, but Huntley has a chance to build on last week's performance. The conditions are set for another solid afternoon.
Baltimore wins the time-of-possession battle comfortably
Cleveland has struggled to control the clock this season, winning the time-of-possession battle just once. Even in that game, the Browns held the ball for only 30:07, and they haven't exceeded 30 minutes of possession in any other contest.
Baltimore has the personnel to exploit that weakness. The Ravens entered Week 6 averaging 164.4 rushing yards per game through their first five contests, giving them a reliable foundation to sustain drives and keep Cleveland's offense on the sideline. If Derrick Henry and the rushing attack establish themselves early, Baltimore can dictate the game's pace, stack points, and make it harder for the Browns to mount a comeback.
Ravens sack Deshaun Watson four times
Watching the New York Jets sack Watson eight times in Week 5 should give Baltimore's defense plenty of encouragement. The Ravens don't necessarily need to match that total to make a difference, but four sacks would be a substantial contribution against a Cleveland offense that has struggled to keep its quarterback clean.
Watson has been sacked 19 times so far this season. Baltimore must balance pass-rush aggression with discipline against Watson's mobility, especially after defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver emphasized the importance of maintaining assignments and finishing plays.
If the Ravens can generate pressure without giving Watson easy escape routes, they could force hurried decisions and create opportunities for the secondary. Trenton Simpson also has a chance to contribute and add another sack to his already impressive 2026 resume.
The Ravens win the turnover battle
Baltimore enters this matchup with a plus-three turnover margin, while Cleveland sits at minus-one. That difference gives the Ravens another reason to believe they can create separation, especially if they protect the ball and force the Browns into late-game chances.
The prediction is that Cleveland plays relatively clean football early, keeping the game competitive while trying to take advantage of its home field. If Baltimore builds a second-half lead, however, the Browns may feel compelled to push the ball downfield and make riskier decisions. That could lead to a late giveaway or two, allowing the Ravens to turn a close game into a more comfortable finish.
Baltimore wins by 14 points
This matchup could remain tight through the first half, as divisional games often do, but Baltimore has the running game and defensive playmakers to pull away after the break. If Huntley protects the football, Henry controls the clock, and the defense creates consistent pressure, the Ravens can gradually wear down Cleveland and capitalize on mistakes.
An overtime finish isn't necessary this time. Baltimore's last two-score win came in Week 1, and the Ravens have a chance to deliver another decisive result by closing out a strong road game. The Browns may make it a grind, but the Ravens' ability to control the ground game and generate pressure should prove decisive. Baltimore improves to 5-1 with its win. Prediction: Ravens 31, Browns 17.
