The Ravens-Colts opener features two quarterbacks who protected the football while producing passer ratings above 100 last season.
Lamar Jackson completed 63.6% of his attempts for 2,549 yards, 21 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 13 games. He finished with a 103.8 passer rating while adding 349 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. Jackson remains the most productive rushing quarterback in league history with 6,522 career yards. He also threw at least one touchdown pass in six of his seven road games last season.
Daniel Jones completed 68% of his passes for 3,101 yards, 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He added five rushing touchdowns and posted a 100.2 passer rating. Jones was especially effective at Lucas Oil Stadium. He surpassed
200 passing yards, threw a touchdown, and recorded a passer rating of at least 100 in all six of his home appearances.
Baltimore’s pass defense ranked 30th in 2025, while Indianapolis finished 31st. That creates opportunities for both quarterbacks if their offensive lines can control the opposing pass rush. Jackson’s mobility gives Baltimore another dimension, but Jones’ success at home makes the matchup more balanced than the quarterbacks’ reputations might suggest.
