The Ravens received encouraging news Wednesday, with pass catcher Rashod Bateman and rookie tight end Matt Hibner back on the practice field ahead of Sunday’s matchup against Cincinnati.
Brian Wacker reported that Bateman was practicing after leaving Baltimore with a shoulder injury following the loss to Cleveland. Hibner also returned from a hand injury, giving the Ravens another offensive option to evaluate this week.
Bateman has 16 receptions for 233 yards and a touchdown this season, averaging 14.6 yards per catch. Eleven of his receptions have produced first downs, and four have gained at least 20 yards, illustrating his value to an offense searching for more consistent production. Hibner has contributed five catches for 70 yards and a touchdown,
averaging 14 yards per reception. His longest catch was 25 yards, and he caught two for 34 yards against Tennessee in Week 4.
Their presence is a positive development after Baltimore scored all 10 points in the first quarter against Cleveland and went scoreless in the final three quarters.

Bateman provides an established receiving option alongside Zay Flowers, while Hibner’s return could expand the available tight end combinations and personnel packages.
The quarterback situation remains unsettled, with Lamar Jackson absent from Wednesday’s practice. Regardless of who starts against Cincinnati, Baltimore would benefit from having more of its receiving group available.
Neither player’s presence alone establishes full participation or clearance for Sunday. Their official practice designations and progress through the rest of the week will determine how much Wednesday’s returns improve Baltimore’s game-day outlook.
