The Baltimore Ravens added more speed and experience to their wide receiver depth chart.
Baltimore signed wide receiver Shedrick Jackson to its practice squad, adding another developmental option as it prepares for a Week 3 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys in Brazil. Jackson, the great-nephew of Auburn and Raiders legend Bo Jackson, entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2023. He spent parts of two seasons with Cincinnati before joining the Las Vegas Raiders’ practice squad in December 2024.
The 6-foot-1, 198-pound receiver made five appearances for Las Vegas in 2025, catching four of his five targets for 56 yards and one touchdown. He caught his first NFL pass and scored his first touchdown on the same play
against the Denver Broncos. Speed is Jackson’s most intriguing attribute. He clocked 4.25 seconds in the 40-yard dash during Auburn’s pro day, giving Baltimore another receiver who can stretch coverage vertically.

Jackson appeared in 53 games over five seasons at Auburn, finishing his college career with 66 receptions for 874 yards and one touchdown. His best season came in 2021, when he caught 40 passes for 527 yards and a touchdown.
The practice-squad designation means Jackson should initially provide depth and help Baltimore’s defense prepare for opposing receivers. His special-teams experience could eventually improve his chances of earning a game-day elevation.
Baltimore has dealt with uncertainty at receiver after Zay Flowers’ hamstring injury and Ja’Kobi Lane’s move to injured reserve. Jackson is unlikely to impact the rotation or carve out a role, but he gives the Ravens another experienced option with legitimate NFL speed.
