Baltimore looks prepared to finish Week 4 without their two-time MVP quarterback. Lamar Jackson was sacked just before halftime, then left the Ravens’ game against the Titans with an ankle injury. Tyler Huntley took over at quarterback to start the second half.
Jackson’s injury came at a critical moment for Baltimore. The Ravens had to adjust quickly during the break, turning to Huntley to lead the offense against Tennessee. The team had not announced the severity of Jackson’s injury or whether he could return.
The sack ended Jackson’s first half and became the defining development for Baltimore heading into the locker room. With its starting quarterback sidelined, the Ravens will need Huntley and the rest of the offense to maintain their rhythm
and avoid putting added pressure on the defense.

Jackson completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, finishing the half with a 144.2 passer rating. He added 20 rushing yards on two carries. Jackson briefly held a perfect passer rating during the second quarter, but the final halftime numbers remained excellent. Baltimore averaged 8.1 yards per play despite allowing two sacks.
Huntley has experience in Baltimore’s offense, but replacing Jackson changes the threat Tennessee must defend. The Ravens’ ability to run the ball and keep the Titans from keying on Huntley will be important as the second half unfolds.
Jackson’s health remains the biggest question. The Ravens have not provided additional details beyond the ankle injury, so his availability for the remainder of Sunday’s game is uncertain.
