The Ravens began on-field preparations for Cincinnati without Lamar Jackson, leaving their starting quarterback’s return unresolved as another practice day began. Jackson was not present at the start of Wednesday’s practice, according to Jamison Hensley. Tyler Huntley and rookie Joe Fagnano warmed up during the portion open to reporters.
Jackson has not played since he injured his ankle against Tennessee on Oct. 4. He missed the second half of that victory and the next two games against Atlanta and Cleveland. His absence Wednesday came after coach Jesse Minter continued to describe him as day-to-day.
Before the injury, Jackson completed 68 of 96 passes for 967 yards, six touchdowns and one interception, producing a 119.6 passer rating. He also
rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries. His 10.1 yards per pass attempt underscores the explosive production Baltimore has been missing.

Huntley is 1-1 in his two starts, helping Baltimore win in overtime in Atlanta before Sunday’s 13-10 loss to Cleveland. Against the Browns, he completed 19 of 31 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown while taking three sacks.
The Ravens now face another division opponent as Cincinnati returns from its bye. Jackson’s return would significantly change Baltimore’s offensive outlook, but his absence from the opening portion of practice does not establish his final game status.
The official injury report and remaining practices will indicate whether Jackson can return Sunday or Huntley will make a third consecutive start.
