Hamilton described a quarterback whose accolades have never changed his approach. He describes a 'man's man', the type of alpha males that others have no issue with following.
"Everybody kind of reinvents themselves... [There's been] no baggage, good or bad has been brought into this season, and that's what I feel like Lamar has been. Obviously he's a two-time MVP [and] one of the best at his position... [He has] all these accolades, but he takes hard coaching very well. [He] never has any sort of attitude towards anybody. If anything, [he's tough on himself] when he may mess up. [If] everybody's seeing our leader and our best player act like that, there's no excuse for you to look at yourself and not do anything different than that. So, he sets a great example, and I'm excited and happy to have him as our quarterback."
