The Baltimore Ravens return home with an opportunity to build on one of the NFL’s most impressive opening-week performances. Baltimore put up 506 yards in its 41-23 win over Indianapolis. Lamar Jackson threw for 324 yards, Derrick Henry rushed for 144 yards and three touchdowns, and Zay Flowers caught 150 yards before leaving with a hamstring injury.
The New Orleans Saints present a different challenge. New Orleans erased a 21-point deficit against Detroit before losing 31-30 in overtime. Tyler Shough passed for a career-high 410 yards and three touchdowns, while Chris Olave caught 10 passes for 182 yards.

Injury report
Flowers
did not participate Wednesday because of his hamstring injury. Trey Hendrickson missed practice with a finger injury, while John Simpson, Ronnie Stanley and T.J. Tampa were sidelined by groin, toe and knee injuries, respectively. Calais Campbell received a rest day.
Nnamdi Madubuike and Teddye Buchanan were listed as limited participants, while Devontez Walker was a full participant after missing Week 1 with a groin injury.
New Orleans held Juwan Johnson and Isaiah Stalbird out of Wednesday’s practice. Oscar Delp and Cameron Jordan were limited, while Alvin Kamara was listed as a full participant because of a knee issue. The team published the complete list in the official Wednesday injury report.
Matchups to watch
Baltimore’s secondary faces an immediate test against Shough and Olave. Nate Wiggins did not allow a reception in Week 1, but New Orleans will move Olave throughout the formation and won't let one cornerback follow him exclusively without creating other advantages. The Saints must also determine how to defend Jackson and Henry without weakening themselves elsewhere. Henry averaged 6 yards per carry against Indianapolis, while Jackson produced 367 total yards.
Baltimore’s offensive line will be important. The group created movement in the running game but committed multiple holding penalties against the Colts. Chase Young, Carl Granderson, and Cameron Jordan give New Orleans enough edge depth to capitalize on mistakes. The Saints showed resilience against Detroit, but allowing the Lions to build a 21-0 advantage demonstrated how quickly the game can get away from them. Baltimore scored touchdowns on four of its first five possessions in Week 1, excluding a Ja’Kobi Lane score erased by a holding penalty.
New Orleans has enough passing-game talent to threaten Baltimore. The Ravens, however, can control the matchup if they protect Jackson, establish Henry, and prevent Olave from dictating coverage.
