The Baltimore Ravens continued to use deep rotations on both sides of the football during their Week 2 loss to the New Orleans Saints. Lamar Jackson played all 58 offensive snaps, joining guards John Simpson and Jovaughn Gwyn and right tackle Roger Rosengarten as the offensive players who did not leave the field.
Rashod Bateman led Baltimore’s wide receivers with 54 snaps, accounting for 93% of the offensive plays. Chris Moore was next with 32 snaps, while Devontez Walker played 17. Ronnie Stanley played 46 snaps (79%). Carson Vinson received 13 offensive snaps as Baltimore continued managing the workload at left tackle.
Mark Andrews led Baltimore’s tight ends with 41 offensive snaps, accounting for 71% of the plays. Durham Smythe played 32 snaps, Matthew
Hibner logged 19, and Jeremy Cuevas received five. Wide receiver LaJohntay Wester played 31 offensive snaps and eight on special teams. That distribution reflected Baltimore’s continued reliance on multiple-tight end personnel. The backfield was divided almost evenly. Derrick Henry played 31 snaps, while Justice Hill played 27. Henry’s 53% share was one of the loss's most notable offensive figures.

Defensively, Malaki Starks and Roquan Smith played all 68 snaps. Nate Wiggins, Marlon Humphrey, and Kyle Hamilton each played 67 snaps, missing only one defensive snap. Safety Jaylinn Hawkins was also heavily involved, playing 64 defensive snaps for a 94% share.
Tavius Robinson led Baltimore’s outside linebackers with 53 snaps. Trenton Simpson played 42 at inside linebacker, while Calais Campbell logged 40 along the defensive line. Travis Jones followed with 38.
Special teams also gave several young players opportunities. Jay Higgins led the Ravens with 19 special-teams snaps, accounting for 83% of the unit’s plays. Ethan Burke followed with 16 snaps, while C. Jones and Rasheen Ali played 14 apiece.
