The Baltimore Ravens made an aggressive move to stabilize their injury-ravaged offensive line Wednesday, acquiring two-time Pro Bowl lineman Cam Jurgens and a 2027 seventh-round pick from the Philadelphia Eagles, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
Baltimore is sending Philadelphia a 2027 fifth-round selection and a 2028 second-round pick in the reported deal.
The price reflects the urgency at right offensive line. Baltimore placed centers Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic on injured reserve last week after both suffered long-term injuries against Dallas. Projected Week 1 starter Danny Pinter previously landed on injured reserve following a knee injury during training camp, leaving the Ravens without three centers.

Rookie first-round pick Vega Ioane moved from guard to center following the injuries and remained there for Baltimore’s Week 4 victory over Tennessee. Adding Jurgens gives the Ravens an established center with guard experience and could eventually allow Ioane to return to his natural position. Philadelphia selected Jurgens with the 51st overall pick in 2022. He began his starting career at right guard before replacing franchise legend Jason Kelce at center. Jurgens earned Pro Bowl honors in 2024 and 2025 and helped the Eagles win Super Bowl LIX.
Philadelphia moved Jurgens to left guard this season after an injury to Landon Dickerson, but his versatility should provide more options once the offensive line is healthier. He is under contract through the 2029 season, making this more than a short-term response to the Ravens’ injury problems. Jurgens’ immediate availability is uncertain. He self-reported concussion symptoms Monday and entered the NFL’s concussion protocol, meaning he must receive clearance before practicing fully or playing.
The Ravens surrendered a future second-round selection to secure a proven blocker in his prime, but the move addresses their most unsettled position while protecting the offense around Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and Tyler Huntley. If Jurgens returns to his Pro Bowl form, Baltimore may have solved both its immediate center crisis and its long-term need at the position.
