The 2026 regular season is upon us, and the Baltimore Ravens listed four players as limited participants Wednesday on their first official injury report of the regular season. Wide receivers Zay Flowers and Devontez Walker, defensive tackle Nnamdi Madubuike, and linebacker Teddye Buchanan were all limited as Baltimore began preparing for Sunday’s season opener against the Indianapolis Colts.
Flowers was listed with a hamstring injury after recently returning to practice. His status will be one of the Ravens’ most important developments to monitor throughout the week. The two-time Pro Bowl selection is Lamar Jackson’s leading target and enters the opener with a touchdown reception in four consecutive games.
Walker was limited by a groin injury.
His size and vertical speed could give Baltimore another downfield option in Declan Doyle’s offense. Madubuike continues working his way back from the neck injury that caused him to miss the final 15 games of the 2025 season. He recently returned to team drills, and head coach Jesse Minter has not ruled him out for Week 1. Even limited participation represents continued progress after such a lengthy absence.

Buchanan was listed with a knee injury. The second-year linebacker has been recovering from the torn ACL that ended his rookie season and is expected to have a significant role alongside Roquan Smith when healthy.
No Ravens player missed Wednesday’s practice, giving Baltimore an encouraging starting point. However, Thursday and Friday participation levels will offer a clearer indication of who might be available against Indianapolis.
The Ravens will issue final game-status designations following Friday’s practice. Until then, all four players remain candidates to play, with their workloads and physical responses during the week determining whether they are ready for the opener.
