The Ravens are releasing outside linebacker Adisa Isaac as they continue reducing their roster to 53 players, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Baltimore selected Isaac No. 93 overall in 2024 after he produced 7.5 sacks and 16 tackles for loss during his final season at Penn State.
Isaac never earned an extended regular-season opportunity. He appeared in four games as a rookie, recording four tackles and one pass breakup. Elbow surgery sidelined him throughout 2025. Isaac began training camp this summer on the physically unable to perform list before passing his physical July 31. He showed flashes after returning, including a sack during the preseason, but faced competition in one of Baltimore’s deepest position groups.

The Ravens have Trey Hendrickson, Tavius Robinson, Mike Green and rookie Zion Young positioned for roles at outside linebacker. Undrafted rookie Ethan Burke also forced his way onto the roster after producing six tackles, two forced fumbles, two pass breakups, two quarterback hits and a sack during the preseason. Releasing Isaac provides another indication of how strongly Baltimore felt about Burke’s performance and potential. It also shows that draft status could not outweigh availability and production in a crowded room.
Isaac is still only 24 and could draw interest from another team seeking developmental pass-rush depth. If he clears waivers, a return to Baltimore’s practice squad could remain possible. For now, the Ravens are moving forward without a former Day 2 selection who never received a healthy opportunity to fully establish himself.
