Baltimore has alternated wins and losses in its past five Week 2 games, producing a 3-2 record since 2021. Those matchups have included dramatic finishes, defensive breakdowns, and several memorable performances from Lamar Jackson.

Baltimore dominated Cleveland in Week 2 last season, scoring 41 points and rebounding from a difficult opening loss at Buffalo. The Ravens suffered a disappointing home defeat against Las Vegas in 2024 after allowing the Raiders to erase a fourth-quarter deficit. Jackson also delivered one of his defining early-career victories in Week 2 of the 2021 season. He accounted for three touchdowns as Baltimore edged Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City, 36-35. The Ravens enter Sunday’s matchup after producing 506 yards in a 41-23 victory over Indianapolis. Jackson passed for 324 yards, Derrick Henry rushed for 144 yards, and Baltimore forced two turnovers.
New Orleans showed similar explosiveness while rallying from a 21-point deficit against Detroit. Baltimore’s recent Week 2 history suggests another entertaining game should not be dismissed.
