Auburn football's final home game of the current stretch now has an official start time.
Auburn football's home SEC game against the Vanderbilt Commodores on Saturday, Sept. 26, will begin at 3:15 p.m. CT, the SEC announced Monday. The game will be broadcast live on SEC Network from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Vanderbilt is one of Auburn's three permanent fixtures for the next four seasons, joining Alabama and Georgia. The 2026 matchup between the Tigers and Commodores will be the 47th meeting in history, and the two teams will be playing for the fourth straight season. Auburn defeated Vanderbilt in 2023, 31-15, before quarterback Diego Pavia led the Commodores to two straight wins over the Tigers in 2024 and 2025. Vanderbilt holds a 23-22-1 all-time
advantage over Auburn.
Auburn and Vanderbilt are both 2-0 heading into Week 3. Auburn defeated Baylor in Week 1 and most recently handled Southern Miss in Jordan-Hare Stadium. Vanderbilt has wins over Austin Peay and Delaware, and will face NC State in Nashville this week before opening SEC play on the road next week. Auburn will host Florida to open SEC play this week.
