The 2026 football season for the Auburn Tigers is on the horizon. As we anticipate the start of the season, let's introduce you to a key member of the 2026 roster.
The Auburn offensive line has dealt with inconsistency over the last several seasons. For Auburn to reach the physicality the head coach Alex Golesh wants in the team, they will need to get better in the trenches. The Tigers made an addition to the team in Deryc Plazz, who played for the Miami Hurricanes in 2025. He was part of a team that lost in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game to the Indiana Hoosiers last season.
Plazz was a three-star prospect both in the transfer portal last season and as a high school recruit in 2024. He was rated as the No. 62 player in Florida
while playing high school football in Jacksonville. He was rated as the No. 62 interior offensive lineman during that recruiting cycle. Plazz appeared in just four games last season for the Hurricanes.
