The dust has settled on a wild Week 6 of college football. Now, Week 7's schedule is taking shape.

football will return to the field next Saturday, Oct. 17, to face No. 2 Georgia in the 131st edition of the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry in Athens. The SEC previously announced the game would begin at 2:30 p.m. CT, with TV network designation still pending. However, after the final whistle of Week 6, the SEC has nailed down the game's broadcast home.ESPN will carry Auburn football's SEC clash against the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, Oct. 17, with kickoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m. CT.
The Bulldogs are likely to take the top spot in both the US LBM Coaches Poll and the Associated Press Poll after beating No. 7 Alabama in Tuscaloosa on Saturday
night and No. 1 Texas' stunning loss to unranked Oklahoma. Auburn hopes to knock off the Bulldogs on Saturday to end a nine-game losing streak to their longest-played rival. Auburn last defeated Georgia in 2017, when the Bulldogs entered the game as the top-ranked team in the country.
