The official depth chart for Auburn football has been released ahead of the Southern Miss game in week two to kickoff home stretch for the Tigers.
The Tigers are headed into week two 1-0 after a close one in Atlanta, Georgia, for the Aflac Kickoff Game against Baylor that saw the Tigers come out with a 17-16 win. The team now turns its attention to its first home game against Southern Miss to open up a three-game stretch on the Plains. Auburn is sticking with the same depth chart lineup for Saturday.
Alex Golesh said that the team had "a lot to clean up" after the game on Saturday. The Tigers seemed out of sync, as many teams did across the nation this week, looking a bit more rusty than many had hoped or expected. Quarterback Byrum Brown will
get a game now against Southern Miss to prove his worth, as the Tigers should handle business at home.
Nothing to crazy to analyze this week; if everything goes to plan for the Tigers, then we should only see the majority of starters just in the first half. As of Monday, Sept. 7, Auburn are 33.5 point favorites over Southern Miss. Kickoff is set for 6:45 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
