The 2026 football season for the Auburn Tigers is on the horizon. As we anticipate the start of the season, let's introduce you to a key member of the 2026 roster.
After spending the last several weeks highlighting defensive players, it is time to shift focus to the offensive side of the football. Through the transfer portal, Auburn gets a second chance with offensive tackle Stanton Ramil after missing out on him as a high school recruit. The former Thompson Warrior chose Michigan State out of high school, and he has found his way back to Alabama as a junior.
Ramil will also get a fresh start on the Plains after injury issues plagued him in East Lansing. Ramil started his career with a season-ending knee injury as a true freshman at Michigan State,
and several injuries in 2025 limited Ramil to just five games. He missed time during Auburn's spring practice session but is healthy heading into fall camp and progressing well according to head coach Alex Golesh.
Ramil aims to get back to his 2024 form, when he played 613 snaps over 11 games as a redshirt freshman, and is viewed as a strong candidate to earn a starting role on the Tigers' offensive line.
