The calendar has flipped to November, and Auburn football hopes to get a fresh start on Saturday against the Arkansas Razorbacks in a key SEC showdown in Jordan-Hare Stadium.
October was not kind to the Auburn Tigers (4-4, 2-4 SEC), as their schedule featured four games against ranked teams. Auburn secured one win in the stretch, a 27-24 stunner at then-No. 1 Georgia, but has now lost two straight games by 21-or-more points, including Week 9's 45-15 loss to Ole Miss. Three of Auburn's final four games will be against unranked teams, including Week 10's game with the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Like Auburn, Arkansas (3-5, 1-4 SEC) is navigating the season with a first-year head coach. Ryan Silverfield is 3-5 in his first season in Fayetteville after winning
50 games in six seasons as Memphis' head coach. The Razorbacks have nonconference wins over North Alabama and Tulsa, and one notable SEC win over Vanderbilt. Last week, Arkansas dropped its Battle Line Rivalry game to No. 19 Missouri, 34-10.

The Tigers and Razorbacks have played every season since 1992, and Auburn leads the all-time series, 21-13-1. Arkansas snapped its six-game losing streak to Auburn in 2022, and the teams have alternated results over the last four seasons, with the away team winning every game since.
Here is an early look at the betting odds and a prediction for Saturday's game between the Auburn Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Auburn vs. Arkansas prediction, pick:
Auburn 30, Arkansas 20: For the first time in several weeks, Auburn plays a team that is on its level. Arkansas is decent at pass defense, while Auburn ranks near the bottom of the SEC in passing. However, Arkansas' defense has struggled to create pressure this season, which could pave the way for Auburn to create a few scoring opportunities. - Taylor Jones
