Auburn football welcomes the Southern Miss Golden Eagles to Jordan-Hare Stadium on Saturday for the 2026 home opener. SEC Network will air the game at 6:45 p.m. CT.
ESPN and SEC Network have announced that its primetime SEC Network crew, which includes Matt Schumaker (play-by-play), Aaron Murray (color analyst), and Taylor Davis (sideline reporter), will call Week 2's game between the Auburn Tigers and the Southern Miss Golden Eagles live from Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Auburn Sports Network will also have coverage of Saturday's game between Auburn and Southern Miss, with Andy Burcham, Jason Campbell, and Bret Eddins on the call. Live coverage on the Auburn Sports Network begins three hours before kickoff.

Saturday's meeting between Auburn and Southern Miss will be the 24th all-time between the two programs with deep southern roots, and the first since 2018. Auburn took down Southern Miss, 24-13, behind a two-touchdown, 245-yard outing by quarterback Jarrett Stidham. The Tigers are 18-5 all-time against Southern Miss and have won four straight games in the series dating back to 1992.
