The league office of the South Eastern Conference announced the attendees for SEC Tipoff in Birmingham, Alabama from Oct. 13-14.
Auburn will be sending head coach Steven Pearl, no surprise there, as he leads this team after his first real off season as the head guy on the Plains. The two player that will be representing the Tigers are guards Tahaad Pettiford and Kevin Overton.
Both guys returning from last year's NIT Tournament winning team. Overton shined bright in the NIT, he was named the tournament MVP for his play during the Tigers' run. While Pettiford overall had regression when it came to production last season after an impressive true freshman campaign.
This season the Tigers have seen a ton of praise gone towards Pettiford's way as the season approaching.
His progression as a player has been trending up. He entering his junior season and see if he can truly get back to the heights we saw him at his freshman season.
Auburn is set to play Florida State on Oct. 14 in Birmingham at 7 p.m. CT airing on YouTube. It will be the Tigers' first exhibition game in the states.
