A notable Auburn wide receiver was included on the initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report for the Tigers' Week 9 game at Ole Miss.
Jeremiah Koger, who has 14 catches for 230 yards this season, is listed as "questionable" for Saturday's game at Ole Miss. According to the SEC, questionable is the third level of severity in terms of availability and means a player's status for the game is uncertain.
Koger's status is notable, as he is one of three Auburn receivers with over 100 receiving yards this season. He set the tone in Auburn's win over Baylor in Week 1 with five catches for 66 yards, and most recently caught two passes for 30 yards in Auburn's loss to No. 13 LSU last weekend. He trails only Keshaun Singleton and Chas Nimrod for the team
lead in receptions and receiving yards.
Outside of Koger, tight end Hunter Herring and offensive lineman Tai Buster are ruled out for Saturday's game. Auburn head coach Alex Golesh provided a positive update on Buster's status this week, saying he is in the process of returning to practice.
The SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report will release updates Thursday evening, Friday evening, and 90 minutes before kickoff on Saturday. Here is a look at the first report for Auburn football's Week 9 at Ole Miss.
