Wide receiverMarvin Harrison Jr will make his debut with theHouston Texans in London against the Jacksonville Jaguars. However, the extent of his involvement in the offense is not clear, especially since he has only been with the team for a few days.
"You've got to just be mindful when anybody comes in here and you're in here for 48 hours or whatnot,” Texans offensive coordinator Nick Caley said. “You're trying to just onboard and he does a good job. He's a really smart guy that's conscientious and works hard. We go in there and not have expectations to have a million plays or whatnot. You grow it as you go. The more we can just stack days and build some momentum on that, you feel more comfortable and you just keep building it. He's done a really good job since
he's been here and I think we'll be able to put together a good plan we have this week to be able to incorporate all the guys we have and he's fit in just fine."
Houston’s offense has looked completely different with Nico Collins back in the lineup against the Tennessee Titans than it did against the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, and Dallas Cowboys. Those games made it clear the Texans needed more help at wide receiver as their trade for wide receiver Kayshon Boutte before the season started has not proved very useful so far.
Harrison's ability flashed at times with the Arizona Cardinals, but he was hardly utilized this year and was not very productive in 2025 either. Between him, Collins, Boutte, Xavier Hutchinson, who had a good game against the Titans, Jaylin Noel, who had a touchdown against Tennessee. Tank Dell, who is working to come back from his 2024 injury.
Houston has a very talented wide receiver room and could get on a run if they can get past Jacksonville.
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. on NFL Network.
