The Houston Texans are adding depth to their linebacking corps ahead of Week 9's matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers.
According to the Texans' transaction list, the team is elevating linebacker Chad Muma to the standard practice squad. The Texans will look to keep the Chargers' seven-game losing streak alive at SoFi Stadium.
A former All-American linebacker at Wyoming and a 2022 third-round pick, Muma, 27, spent three seasons with the Jaguars as a reserve option, mostly seeing action on special teams. Last season, he split time between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots.
