It has been a long journey for Houston Texans’ wide receiver Tank Dell after his gruesome knee injury in December of 2024 that caused him to be out for nearly two years.
Dell was finally able to return in Week 7’s loss against the New York Giants, where he had a 43-yard reception on a pass that was not even intended for him. He just made a heads-up play to turn a potential incompletion or interception into a positive gain.
In Houston’s Week 9 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, as the Texans continue to seek their third win of the season, Dell got his first touchdown since the injury on a 63-yard completion.
He now has 11 touchdowns in his career after getting seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2023 and three touchdowns in 2024 before his injury
against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Here are some of the best reactions from the fan base after Dell’s electric touchdown to extend the Texans’ lead against the winless Chargers.

It reads as another TD…
To Tank Dell, it’s almost 700 days of pain, rehab, and refusing to quit.
In December 2024 he tore his ACL, MCL, and LCL, damaged his meniscus, and dislocated his kneecap. He missed the entire 2025…
