The Dallas Cowboys were trying to get a field goal to make it 13-9 before halftime. However, Houston Texans All-Pro Will Anderson had other plans. After blocking a field goal earlier in the second half, Anderson sacked Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott for a loss of nine yards on third down.

The sack made the field goal attempt for Dallas go from 56 yards to 65 yards. Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey attempted the field goal and while it was not blocked this time, he still missed. Houston was able to capitalize on the other end and get a field goal of their own, making it 16-6 at halftime. Dallas will receive the second
half kickoff.
