After not getting a sack in the Houston Texans’ season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Danielle Hunter closed the door in the second quarter against Joe Burrow.
The five-time Pro Bowl defensive end notched his first sack of the season on second-and-long for the Cincinnati Bengals offense. It is the second sack of the day for the Texans’ defense.

Both teams remain scoreless after Houston had a botched snap on a 34-yard field goal attempt although the Texans’ defense has forced a punt on all four of the Bengals’ possessions so far.

Hunter, who recorded 15.5 sacks last season,
is well on his way to htting that total again n 2026.
