The Houston Texans are gearing up for their Week 1 matchup against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon at Reliant Stadium, marking the first time the new-look offense takes shape.
And while it remains "unofficial," fans finally have some clarity on how things will look when C.J. Stroud take the field for an opportunity to make a run toward the team's first-ever Super Bowl out west.
The Texans released their unofficial depth chart for Week 1, which clarified how the offensive line would look against the AFC East franchise. Most notably is the move at center and left guard. Keylan Rutedlge, who was expected to be the team's starting center, will move back to his natural guard role after looking more comfortable during the preseason at a different
position.
Meanwhile, Evan Brown, who signed a one-year deal this offseason as a depth piece, will begin the season as the starting center. Jake Andrews, Houston's starter last season, will serve as the backup while veteran All-Pro offensive guard Wyatt Teller will serve as depth at either guard spot.
Defensively, it's more of the common theme, though one linebacker could be seeing more reps in the basic 4-3 system over others.

Kickoff is scheduled for Noon. The Texans plan to honor the memory of co-founder and CEO Janice McNair following her passing this summer.
