TheHouston Texans made their defense even better in the offseason, but the Buffalo Bills also improved their offense with a new No. 1 wide receiver in DJ Moore.
Moore could be a problem for the Texans in their season opener this coming Sunday. Houston’s defensive coordinator Matt Burkealready has Moore on his radar entering Sunday's showdown
“Explosive receiver, great with the ball in his hands,” Burke said. They've created a lot of explosives with run after the catch in the pass. He is another guy that fits in that mold, but then also can get vertical down the field. I played him a few years ago when he was in Chicago, when we were here one of those night games. They have a very good group of skill players and he just adds another element, another weapon
that we've got to be ready to defend.”
In nine NFL seasons, Moore has never actually scored a touchdown against the Texans, but he does average nearly 75 yards per game in the three times he has faced Houston and that is from when he was with Carolina and Chicago. With Josh Allen now as his quarterback, Moore could be a real problem for this Texans defense.

However, the Texans also have one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL in Derek Stingley Jr, who did not allow a completion last season when Houston faced off against Buffalo.
If the Texans keep Stingley on Moore for most or all of the game, that should help neutralize Moore as a threat in this game.
