The Texans strike first, just like in 2002.
Much like his first game of the regular season, Pro Bowl wide receiver Nico Collins scored a seven-yard touchdown after having a 45-yard catch earlier in the drive to give the Houston Texans an early 7-0 lead against the Dallas Cowboys.

The score marked Collins’ second touchdown of the year after scoring against the Bills.
It is also the first time this season Houston has scored on their opening drive. Now, they are looking to contain Dallas’ high-powered offense headlined by their star receivers, CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens.
C.J. Stroud looked
impressive on the drive, completing four passes for 72 yards, including two first-down gains to Collins and veteran tight end Brevin Jordan, who returned to the football field for the first time since 2024.
