The Houston Texans are looking for depth to replace the injured Henry To'oTo'o on the market.
According to reports, the Texans worked out former starting linebacker and first-round pick Kenneth Murray during his visit on Tuesday, though he did not sign a contract. Houston also elevated Jamal Hill from the practice squad after placing To'oTo'o, who is expected to miss several months with a shoulder injury, on the injured reserve.
A former All-American at Oklahoma, Murray was selected 23rd overall by the Los Angeles Chargers in 2020. He lated signed a deal with the Tennessee Titans in 2024 and led the team in tackles.
Last season, Murray, 27, spent the year in Dallas after the Cowboys traded for him from the Titans in the offseason for two draft
picks. He started 16 games and finished second on the team in tackles with 81. Murray also added four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, a sack and a fumble recovery.

Since the start of the offseason, he has worked out for the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants. In Houston, he could fill the void of Hill on the practice squad and be elevated for gamedays.
The Texans take on the Cincinnati Bengals this Sunday at Reliant Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for Noon on CBS.
