Dak Prescott is rooting for the Houston Texans and C.J. Stroud.
He wants to see the other team in the Lone Star State "win some games" this season.
And no, that's not just tongue-in-cheek from a fan base overhearing something wrong. Prescott himself told Stroud to finally get over the hype following a 34-30 loss on Sunday afternoon.
In a short postgame conversation between Prescott and Stroud that went viral this week, Prescott wanted to make sure to offer words of encouragement to the fourth-year starter. While Stroud has played phenomenally this season, the Texans remain winless entering mid-October.
Of course, Prescott wasn't trying to "big brother" Stroud, but the words seemed to send a message.
"Just shake it off," Prescott told Stroud. "Go
get some wins, bro. Get some wins going, brother."

No one can blame Stroud for the lackluster start to the 2026 season at Reliant Stadium. Last season, everyone focused in on the former No. 2 pick's turnover margain in the playoffs, saying if he could avoid the interceptions, Houston would be a Super Bowl-bound roster.
Well, Stroud has yet to throw an interception entering Sunday's AFC South bout with the Tennessee Titans. He's completing 64.4 percent of his pass attempts and has two 300-yard passing performances. Last week against the Cowboys, Stroud threw two touchdown passes and led three scoring drives while throwing six explosive passes of over 20 yards downfield.
In fact, the defense has cost Houston two wins this season at home in the final minute of action, including last week with Prescott's late touchdown pass to CeeDee Lamb. Because of the slow start, Texans head coach DeMeco Ryans has taken over the play-calling for the foreseeable future from defensive coordinator Matt Burke.
“If guys are saying communication is not right, then ultimately it falls on me,” Ryans said. “So I’m going to get it fixed. It’s no slight on Coach Burke. He’s done an outstanding job. I just want to make sure I streamline communication in the best way possible so that isn’t the theme when I stand up here and see you guys.”
Stroud and the Texans will try to avoid their worst start since 2005 when theyreturn to action in Week 5to face the winless Titans
