For just the fourth time ever, the Wisconsin Badgers football program is set to play Western Illinois.
The Badgers are 3-0 all-time against the Leathernecks in a series that has seen all three games played at Camp Randall Stadium.
Saturday, September 12, will keep that trend alive in a series that first began back in 1991.
Wisconsin won the first-ever meeting between these two teams, 31-13, and made sure the score looked eerily similar in the two games to follow.
After a 15-year layoff, they met again in 2006 when Wisconsin came out victorious, 34-10.
Eight years later, they met again in 2014 with the Badgers dominating that game, 37-3.
Wisconsin is averaging 34 points per game against Western Illinois, while the Leathernecks are averaging just 8.66.
In total, the Badgers have outscored Western Illinois, 102-26.
Wisconsin has scored 30+ points in all three matchups, and they've all been decided by at least 18 points, but recently, as many as 34.
