For just the third time since 2006, the Wisconsin Badgers men's hockey team is ranked No. 1 in the USCHO Rankings.
USCHO revealed its updated rankings on Monday, Nov. 2, in an announcement that saw the Badgers leapfrog Michigan.
The Wolverines lost to unranked Ohio State over the weekend, while the Badgers improved to 6-0-0 with a pair of dominant wins over Notre Dame.

According to Badger Extra's Todd Milewski, this is the longest into a season they've gone without finding themselves in a deficit in program history.
UW was rewarded with its first spot as No. 1 since 2023, though its time at the top of the polls was short lived that year.
Regardless, Mike Hastings' squad received 37 of 50
first-place votes.
The Badgers are back in action on Thursday, Nov. 5, and Saturday, Nov. 7, against Minnesota.
