The Wisconsin Badgers have been on the wrong end of the past few seasons.
Via quarterback injuries or inconsistent play, since head coach Luke Fickell’s arrival, Wisconsin hasn’t been able to make the game’s most important position work out.
That is until now.
While Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph hasn’t been perfect this season and will sit far away from any Heisman conversation, he is certainly worth investing in, according to Fickell.
“Unfortunately, it might just be a little bit of a roller coaster ride. Here’s a guy that has incredible abilities, and he’s growing and learning as well," Fickell said after the Penn State game.
Now, through five games, Joseph has tallied 1,132 yards through the air, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions, notching
a 56.6% completion rate. On the ground, Joseph has added 262 yards and another three touchdowns.
The next chance for Joseph to flex his ability is at UCLA on Saturday, Oct. 18.
