The Wisconsin Badgers have had a storied history of churning out NFL talent at running back since the days of Melvin Gordon. While Dare Ogunbowale never reached the heights of Gordon or Jonathan Taylor, the former walk-on defensive back was still mighty productive, totaling 2,025 yards from scrimmage, to go along with 15 touchdowns in 43 total games. Ogunbowale went undrafted heading into the 2017 season, but has since plied his trade in the NFL with the Washington Commanders, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Houston Texans. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Ogunbowale has now signed with the Las Vegas Raiders ahead of the 2026 season.

So far in his NFL career, Ogunbowale has notched
594 yards across 177 carries for 5 touchdowns. Ogunbowale now finds himself behind the likes of Ashton Jeanty and will be battling for carries with Mike Washington Jr. and Dylan Laube. Last season, the Raiders posted the league’s worst rushing offense at just 77.5 yards per game.
