The No. 2 Wisconsin Badgers women’s hockey team is back on the ice Friday to officially open their 2026-27 season against St. Lawrence.
Wisconsin enters the new season as the defending two-time national champions after capturing its ninth NCAA title in March.
The Badgers return to action with a mix of experienced players and newcomers as they begin the quest for a historic three-peat.
Friday’s matchup is the first of a two-game series at Appleton Arena in Canton, New York. The Badgers and Saints meet again Saturday afternoon to close out the opening weekend.
