The Wisconsin Badgers football program knows they need to get better offensively.
These last two years have resulted in abysmal offensive production, and even that may be an understatement.
Heading into the 2026 season, this feels like an entirely new-look offense. Head coach Luke Fickell did everything he could in the portal, and that resulted in stars arriving in Madison, such as quarterback Colton Joseph and running back Abu Sama.
That said, a tight end transfer could steal the show. Jacob Harris, who spent his first two years at Bowling Green, was recently ranked the No. 4 top-graded returning Big Ten tight end, according to Pro Football Focus.

Business is about to pick up
Obviously, Harris has never played in this conference before, so that's where things get interesting.
Wisconsin is coming off a 2025 season where its top receiver was actually a tight end. Lance Mason is off to the NFL, but he led the way with 398 receiving yards, a number that's so low there's no way it should be enough to lead the team.
When it comes to Harris, he has 21 career receptions for 187 yards. He's coming off a 19-reception season, one that saw five of those be hauled in for touchdowns. This 6-foot-6, 270-pound Ohio native could, and likely should, become a focal point of the Badgers' new offense in 2026.
