Coming off arguably the biggest win of his time with the Wisconsin Badgers, Luke Fickell earned an incredible honor.

Wisconsin went to Happy Valley and took down Penn State, 24-20.

It was far from the prettiest game in the world, but the way his defense performed was absolutely sensational, and then Old Dominion transfer Colton Joseph shrugged off three interceptions and guided two huge touchdown drives in the fourth quarter.

On Monday, Sept. 28, Fickell was officially named the Paul "Bear" Bryant National Coach of the Week.

Remember, Fickell was named the Paul Bryant National Coach of the Year in 2021 when he led Cincinnati

to the College Football Playoffs.

After years of struggling to get this Badgers program back on track, Fickell seems to be doing just that.
