Under Luke Fickell, theWisconsin Badgers have consistently overrecruited despite inconsistent results, a sign of the fourth-year head coach's recruiting prowess. Heading into the 2027 class, Fickell has already compiled a 23-man class totaling six four-stars, including running back Kingston Allen.
According to 247Sports, Allen is the 150th-best player in the class of 2027, the No. 7 running back, and the No. 1 player from Wisconsin. The Notre Dame Academy Product put on a show again on Friday, Oct. 2, as the Tritons smashed Menasha 66-18.
Allen surpassed 200 rushing yards in the first half, according to Jake Kocorowski, and he finished with 29 carries for 279 yards, six touchdowns, and a two-point conversion.

Thus far, Allen is the only running back that Fickell is reeling into the program. Of the seven current running backs on the roster, only sophomore Harrison Bortolotti is an underclassman, and with the new age-based eligibility, a player like Abu Sama III could be with the program next year, constricting the snaps Allen may be able to attain as a true freshman.
