The Wisconsin Badgers' season could take an incredible turn if they're able to defeat Penn State in Week 4.
There's nothing wrong with being 2-1 since that loss loss was to Notre Dame, but a 2-2 start to the season is less than ideal.
Again, PSU is another ranked team, so there's no doubt this is going to be a huge challenge, but these are the type of games head coach Luke Fickell needs to win if he wants to bring this team back to glory.
1. Can Abu Sama and Malachi Coleman contribute?
Both of these players have been banged up, and that's the last thing Colton Joseph needed just three games into his time at Wisconsin.
The run game hasn't been horrible, but there's a clear difference when Sama is in the game.
Coleman impressed in a big way against the Fighting Irish, but at the very least, Joseph
has a new safety blanket with Tyrell Henry, who's fresh off a week where he had 14 receptions for 160 yards.
2. Will this game be a repeat of the season opener?
Competing with Notre Dame for 30 minutes was one thing, but this team got the brakes blown off of them in the second half.
Going to Beaver Stadium and hanging in there against No. 14 Penn State would be impressive, no doubt, but that's not going to cut it.
If Wisconsin keeps things close at halftime and then collapses in the second half again, there are going to be far more questions than answers with Fickell at the helm for another .500 record.
