The UCLA game could change everything, but for now, the Wisconsin Badgers are penciled in for a major bowl game.
USA TODAY's Erick Smith has the Bruins as the No. 7 seed in the College Football Playoffs, so UW has a chance to change that on Saturday, Oct. 17, at the Rose Bowl.
When it comes to the Badgers, Smith sees them making the Cactus Bowl on Dec. 26 against Baylor.
The Bears are currently 4-1 with their lone loss being a one-point defeat against Auburn to open the year.
While their schedule has been relatively easy up to this point, they're scheduled to play three ranked teams to end the year: BYU, Texas Tech, and Houston.
Wisconsin's schedule also includes a pair of ranked opponents after the UCLA game (USC and Iowa), so it'll be interesting
to see if Smith's prediction ends up becoming a reality.
