The No. 2 Duke Blue Devils blew out Army in the 2026-27 season opener, 84-50.
Wisconsin Badgers great John Blackwell was in the starting five alongside Dame Sarr, Joaquim Boumtje Boumtje, Patrick Ngongba II, and Cayden Boozer.
Shockingly, Blackwell has more turnovers than points in hisBlue Devils debut. To say that it was a rough outing would be putting it mildly, and these aren't numbers that Badgers fans are used to seeing from the 6-foot-5 guard.
Blackwell's only three points came from a three-pointer, and he was just 1-for-5 from distance last night.

Overall, Blackwell was
1-for-6 from the field. He had one rebound, one assist, one steal, and four turnovers.
Duke had 13 turnovers as a team, but Blackwell's four were the most by any individual player.
Head coach Jon Scheyer had him on the court for 24 minutes, which was tied for the most of any Blue Devils player.
Blackwell will have a chance to redeem himself against Coastal Carolina on Thursday, Nov. 5.
