The Iowa Hawkeyes' leading running back has just been ruled out for the rest of the season.
According to 247Sports' Eliot Clough, Moulton sustained an upper body injury in the Minnesota game that is going to keep him out the rest of the year.
This is not only a huge blow to the Hawkeyes offense, but also huge news for the Wisconsin Badgers defense.
Remember, UW just held USC to a negative rushing yard total in a Week 8 blowout, so now they go into this Halloween showdown with an entirely different strategy.
Moulton led Iowa with 86 carries for 541 yards, and there's no one else remotely close to him on this team.
His four touchdowns were a team high, though it's worth noting that three of Xavier Williams' touches have been touchdowns.
Williams had
just five carries for 17 yards in the Minnesota game, but he's Iowa's second-leading rusher with 25 carries for 187 yards.
Iowa has a relatively deep running back room as the trio of Braeden Jackson, Nathan McNeil, and L.J. Phillips Jr. all have 21 or more carries each for 88-plus yards.
