The Florida State Seminoles will play the Virginia Cavaliers on Saturday in Doak Campbell Stadium. It is one of the most important games of FSU's season and is a must-win game for Mike Norvell and Co.
The game is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be on ESPN2, with ESPN announcing the broadcasting crew on Monday. Jay Alter will be the play-by-play announcer with Tom Luginbill serving as the color commentator, and Lauren Sisler reporting from the sideline.
The Seminoles will be looking to pull off the upset, with the Cavaliers opening as slight favorites. Both teams are coming into the game off a win, with FSU beating the Central Arkansas Bears 34-7 and Virginia (3-1, 1-0 ACC) beating the Delaware Blue Hens 42-3.
FSU's victory snapped a two-game
losing streak and got them back to .500 at 2-2, but they are still looking for their first win over a Power Four opponent. The Seminoles will be looking for revenge after losing 46-38 in double overtime to Virginia last season.
FSU spiralled after the loss, which was their first of the season. They lost their next three games and were suddenly 3-4 after opening the season 3-0. It was Virginia's second straight win over FSU, with the Cavaliers winning three of the past four meetings overall.
