Week 1 of the 2026 college football season is in the books, and ACC play has already kicked off. The Miami Hurricanes are already looking like the team to beat in the conference with a dominant first win in conference play vs. the Stanford Cardinal, and the SMU Mustangs pulled out a close victory over the Florida State Seminoles.
Speaking of FSU, they have a bye week before taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide and then the Central Arkansas Bears. After that, their conference schedule kicks into high gear, and they have a brutal stretch of games in the ACC in the month of October.
There aren't that many ACC games in Week 2, but here's where the teams stand at the moment.
