2027 three-star prospect Logan Flaherty, who committed to Florida State back in May, is having a great senior season as a dual-threat quarterback at Port Charlotte High School in Port Charlotte, Florida. He's guided the Pirates to a 4-2 record, and he's also earned some very distinctive honors.
Per his social media, Flaherty has been named First-Team All-District by the FACA. Also, he's earned his second consecutive Regional Player of the Year award.
"Blessed to be named SWFL regional player of the year back to back ‼️ Congratulations to coach Ingman and the rest of the guys who were nominated first team could not have done it with out y’all but we ain’t done yet ‼️‼️‼️," Flaherty wrote.
Flaherty has thrown for 875 yards and five touchdowns to three
interceptions in six games. As a runner, he's racked up 652 yards on 67 carries and rushed for nine scores with three games over 100 yards.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pounder has been a regular visitor at FSU since he made his pledge, and he's campaigned for other top recruits to join the Seminoles. Despite all the chaos surrounding the program, Flaherty has shut down his recruitment, and he's certainly a player that Florida State should want to keep.
Flaherty is the nation's No. 806 player and the No. 40 quarterback in the 247Sports composite rankings. In the state of Florida, he's ranked as the No. 66 prospect.
