Florida State football wide receiver Duce Robinson continues to collect national recognition ahead of the 2026 season.
The Sporting News named Robinson to its second-team preseason All-America offense Thursday, placing the Seminoles senior among the publication’s six selected wide receivers. He joined Rutgers’ KJ Duff and Indiana’s Charlie Becker on the second team, while Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith, Miami’s Malachi Toney and Texas’ Cam Coleman earned first-team honors.
The selection follows a breakout debut season in Tallahassee for the 6-foot-6, 230-pound receiver. Robinson led Florida State with 56 receptions for 1,081 yards and six touchdowns in 2025, becoming the program’s first 1,000-yard receiver since 2019. His performance earned him first-team
All-ACC recognition and a spot among the semifinalists for the Biletnikoff Award.
Robinson’s production extended well beyond his final totals. He averaged 19.3 yards per catch and recorded five games with at least 120 receiving yards, the most among Power Four receivers and the second-highest total nationally. In eight conference games, Robinson averaged an ACC-best 102.8 receiving yards and led the league during the regular season in catches of at least 20, 30 and 40 yards.
The Sporting News honor adds to a growing list of preseason recognition for Robinson. He was previously selected to the preseason All-ACC team, named to the Maxwell Award watch list and chosen as a nominee for the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team. Sporting News is also one of the five organizations used to determine consensus All-America status following the season.
Robinson elected to forgo the 2026 NFL Draft and return to Florida State for his senior season, giving the Seminoles one of the country’s most productive returning receivers. He enters the fall as a central piece of an offense looking to build around his size and big-play ability.
Florida State opens its 2026 schedule against New Mexico State on Aug. 29 at Doak Campbell Stadium.
